01About

I build the backbone — APIs, platforms and pipelines — and the interfaces that sit on top of them.

I'm Hareem Bilal, a software engineer who cares about the parts of a system nobody sees until they break: the API contract, the auth flow, the deploy pipeline, the dashboard that tells you something is wrong before your users do.

Day to day I work across NestJS, React/Next.js, Kubernetes and observability — designing type-safe GraphQL APIs, orchestrating resilient workflows with Temporal, and building data pipelines when analytics matter. Outside of work I ship Azal, a live Islamic companion app on Google Play.
